KUHS 102.5 FM

Turn it up! Low Key Arts, the nonprofit parent organization of the Valley of the Vapors Independent Music Festival, Hot Water Hills Music & Arts Festival, and Arkansas Shorts: A Night of Short Film, has received a license for a low-power community radio station, KUHS 102.5 FM. KUHS will present a wide range of programs designed to inspire, inform, and engage the community of Hot Springs from its point of broadcast on West Mountain. Online streaming will allow KUHS to reach a virtually unlimited audience. Programming will be created by residence of Hot Springs, from music shows to talk radio. Partnerships with local organizations such as the Arkansas School for Math, Sciences, and the Arts (ASMSA), Jazz Society, Spa City Blues Society, Hot Springs Music Festival and the Advertising and Promotion Commission are currently forming. Imagine a Hot Springs radio station broadcasting jazz, blues, rock, classical, world beat, hip-hop, punk, metal and news programming. These are all cultures represented in Hot Springs who may soon have a voice! Be a part of this community voice by supporting KUHS with a financial contribution. Our financial goal to purchase and install all equipment is $30,000. Our first broadcast goal is early 2015. KUHS has already gained the support of The Hot Springs Advertising and Promotion Commission, The Dorothy Morris Foundation, as well as, dozens of private funders. On-line tax deductible donations can be made at www.kuhs-lp.com.
