Optimum Eventing was founded by Lee Ann Gilson, an A graduate from the United States Pony Club, who is the owner, manager, and trainer at In Unison Farm LLC. She is currently competing Crack the Code at Beginner Novice and will move up to Novice this year. She started and trained Crack the Code as well as many other horses that have been successful in the show world. She is a certified instructor with USEA for Level I - Training. She has also trained and coached many successful riders over the years in the Eventing and Dressage worlds and also dabbles in the Hunter/Jumper world. She offers instruction to riders who are equine owners and desire to develop a deep connection with their mount. A connection that enables them to capture the best possible performance from their equine partner while sensing that they are a part of that body in motion, moving in unison. She provides a customized quiet approach for her students that allows her to promote the most out of the rider. She has high expectations from her riders, yet, the expectations are within reach for each rider. Some of Lee Ann's and her mounts accomplishments are: 2006 - Phantom of the Opera finished 4th out of 40 in Beginner Novice at the USEA Area III Championships 2010 - Crack the Code was GDCTA Champion for Open Training Level (Dressage) 2011 - Crack the Code was GDCTA Reserve Champion for Pro Beginner Novice and Open High Point Champion at the Poplar Place Farm June USEF/USDF Dressage show 2012 - Crack the Code was GDCTA Champion for Pro Beginner Novice and Foxberry Farm Champion for Beginner Novice 2013 - Crack the Code was GDCTA Champion for Pro Novice 2014 - Crack the Code finished 6th in Beginner Novice with USEA, 2nd in Beginner Novice with USEA Area III, and GDCTA Champion in Beginner Novice at recognized events

A little bit about us: In the Woods is a state of the art, fully inclusive wedding and event venue, located in the middle of our family-owned secluded property off of HWY 113 in Rockmart, GA. The setting is a very natural, country setting with many options to accommodate your every need and desire. Say your “I do’s” in our 3200 ft² newly constructed, modern-rustic pavilion nestled deep back in the woods by the lake. Your guests will be in awe of the breath-taking scenery at the ceremony site. The covered pavilion is lined with antique church pews and overlooks the water at the most beautiful spot on the property. Dine, Dance, and Celebrate in the 5200 ft² warm and inviting reception hall. Swing open the barn doors and the rustic elegance of the building takes over. The Reception Hall is fully equipped with tables, chairs, and linens to sit up to 300. Also choose from our huge inventory of décor & centerpieces. Other amenities of the reception hall include men’s and women’s restroom facilities and a food prep area for the caterers. Don’t rush off lovebirds! Stay your first night as newlyweds in our Private “Honeymoon Suite” cabin. Enjoy the spa, overlooking the stunning views of the lake. Jenkins Creek Events
Jenkins Creek is a small piece of creek front property that was once part of a large section of land in Bartow County owned by Raymond Jenkins. The land was then passed down to Raymond's Son, Hugh Dennis Jenkins who passed away in 2014. The Creek is now in the care of Mitchell and Don Jenkins, Dennis' Son and Grandson. Throughout the years, we've had family cookouts, celebrated birthday parties, and holidays on the creek. When we had our first singing on the creek, things got a little crowded. So, unfortunately, our events that we have planned for the future have already outgrown our one acre of property at the creek. However, to keep the creek involved in some way, all of our upcoming events will be hosted by "Jenkins Creek" weather it be at a church, park, or outdoor venue. We still plan on having family cookouts and birthday parties at Jenkins Creek of course. We are so blessed to be able to have such a beautiful piece of land to enjoy with our family. "If one is saved, it's worth it all." We hope you'll join us whenever Jenkins Creek brings a singing near you!
